NEC Deutschland was founded in 1987 with its registered offices in Düsseldorf and branches in three other European countries together with a technology center in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. The product portfolio includes supercomputers and high-performance computing, telecommunications and IT solutions as well as biometric security solutions for Civil and Law Enforcement.

Within Network Solutions team we are currently looking for a:

Senior Sales Manager Network Solutions DACH (m/f/d)

Position: Senior Sales Manager Network Solutions DACH
Reporting to: Head of Sales NWS DACH
Location: Homebased Germany
Start date: asap


  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales supporting teams
  • Design, implement and maintain strategic business/account plans that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Create, monitor and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Responsibility amongst others for Telecommunication Accounts / 5G Open Ran
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Develop the business supported by technical teams
  • Create offers and proposals for new customers
  • Apply consultative techniques for solution sales
  • Working in a virtual team and a local and international support organization (Düsseldorf, London, Tokyo)

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in IT- environment, IT market, solution market, telecom and high tech market
  • Degree (BA, Dipl. MA) in information technology, electronic or business economics
  • Proven success in sales and business development
  • Capability and desire to work at the same time in several solution fields like Telecommunication, IT, broadcast and postal
  • Maintain high level industry product and service knowledge
  • High level of service and customer focus
  • Good negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of telecommunication and IT platforms and applications
  • Willingness to travel within DACH region up to 40%
