About the Role
This role has overall accountability to ensure that the global templates for the cloud services (initially SuccessFactors) meet the needs of customers and users, is making the best use of available configuration options and manage system availability. They will lead the functional team in charge of enacting the system configuration changes as required by the Digital HR CoE team for their planned and ad-hoc HR IT platform changes. The role will manage the relationship with the suppliers and customer care and application management functions necessary to ensure smooth running of the cloud systems. In the future these roles may be in house and be managed directly by this role. 
 
  • Take overall accountability for working with the supplier to ensure release management is effective in partnership with the Global Business Process Leader and Governance Boards whilst building internal capability to manage the process ourselves.
  • Oversee the administration of the system ensuring that actions taken are in line with the global template and the integrity is maintained. This includes managing ServiceNow ticketing end to end.
  • Drive the business adoption and use of the KPI and reporting functionality within the cloud product through ensuring effective reporting functionality in the team and in the digital product.
  • Ensure effective user support through the provision of a customer care functionality initially provided by the supplier.
  • Engage in the governance of the systems through the appropriate governance boards ensuring that system capability is taken into account when making decisions.
  • Work with the Global HR Digital Leader and Global Business Process Leader to ensure that any new HR technology is appropriate for the needs of the business and fits within the overall Digital HR strategy.


Skills & Experience required
  • Previous experience of managing cloud services within a large global  organisation
  • Understanding of how SuccessFactors functions and how it is managed from a technical point of view
  • Experience of managing cloud suppliers providing application management support as part of their contract.
  • Familiar with the requirements for release management for a cloud product and the processes to manage the requirement.
  • Ability to implement a continuous improvement mindset within the team to maximise business value.
  • A good understanding of risk management.
  • Ability to develop an effective customer care operation to ensure that users feel supported in meeting their system queries.
  • Strong people management skills to ensure that the team is high performing and meeting the needs of the business.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
