Position: Full Stack Senior Developer

Location: Madrid / Spain
 

1. Role Purpose

 
  • As part of the Project Development team, you will contribute to the development and deployment of best of breeds Cloud products and services for our clients worldwide.
     
  • This opportunity is a multi-facetted technical role, focus on development of innovative Cloud platforms. Our SaaS solutions are based on NEC’s emerging technologies and leveraging on both proprietary technology and open source leading alternatives.
     
  • This professional opportunity will provide you a view of global customer’s initiatives towards Cloud.
     
     

2. Key responsibilities/duties of the role

 
  • Design, develop and test Cloud Solutions based on NEC’s emerging technologies and leveraging on both proprietary technology and open source leading alternatives.
     
  • Help team members to improve their capacities implementing best industry practices and training low experience members.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
     
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
     
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills. 
  • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
     

4. Experience

 
  • Five (+) years as a developer
  • Three (+) years as Full Stack developer.
     
    5. Education and/or Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred.
  • Microsoft and other technical certifications are a plus.

6. Professional Skills and Knowledge

You have outstanding knowledge of NodeJS and are capable of securely dealing with databases (Postgres, MongoDB). 
You are used to deal with production system where performance and reliability is
critical
Your pronounced analytical skills put you in the position to grasp complex requirements and realise them in high-quality software through agile methods.
Essential for this position:
  • Web front-end technology: HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, Angular.
  • Proficiency in Back-end Coding and Design (Python, NodeJS, Java)
  • Familiarity with relational & non-relational databases: MySQL, Postgres , MongoDB.
  • Microservice software development.
  • Knowledge of Java Application Web Servers , SpringBoot
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Sonar..
  • Experience with developing WebServices SOAP and REST.
  • Experience with version control systems: Git and basic Git-Flow methodology
  • Knowledge of Cloud services (Google, Amazon, Azure)
  • Designing and developing systems (APIs) for both high availability and scalability. Ability to Integrate with external systems through native protocols or standard protocols
  • Writing automated tests (both unit and integration tests)
  • Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently based on the project requirements
  • Identify and communicate risks before implement the solution
  • Develop in a test-oriented and fast paced environment
  • Ability to analyse and work with source code from other developers
  • Development ecosystem: IDEs, code versioning, continuous integration, issue management.
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience
  • Familiarity with Automation Tools
     
     
    Desirable:
  • Optimization of source code
  • Statistics
  • Knowledge of third party open souce software
  • BPM/Process Automation experience. Develop & Support Workflow Integration
