The job
NEC will expand the Cisco focussed sales team in EMEA in relation to Mass Infrastructure technologies. NEC is looking for creative, people-oriented and sales professionals who are passionate and results driven to strengthen the Sales team. Although the focus will be EMEA wide the candidate(s) will be based in Europe.
 
The successful candidate will need to work with NEC Account and Leadership teams to increase the number of active account managers capable of promoting Cisco solutions. Success will require experience in customer-centric sales of Cisco solutions. This will require working with NEC local teams to develop, communicate, and execute cross regional go-to-market plans.



Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a reputation as a sales leader capable of articulating how technology can provide customers with competitive advantage and improve business outcomes
  • Identify and establish a targeted pipeline of “must win” opportunities with Cisco
  • Establish and maintain influential relationships at all levels within NEC, Cisco and the Customer's organisation
  • Be the customer advocate within NEC who orchestrates deep relationships between Cisco, sales leaders and their account teams
  • Develop and execute on a joint business plan that results in achieving revenue goals and agreed KPIs
  • Have confidence in qualify opportunities and leads based on technical and commercial criteria
  • Work with local NEC sales and account teams with Go To Market strategies and provide sales mentoring through customer engagements

Are you interested?
 
The role requires a Cisco sales manager capable of hunting for new sales opportunities. The candidate(s) will be required to have a proven Sales track record with a good contact network base in the Service Provider domain. Knowledge of Cisco products, technologies and processes is highly desired.


Skills & Experience Required
  • The successful candidate will be achievement driven
  • Extensive experience in the telecommunications market, ideally from service provider related industry with a proven track record in major accounts
  • Develop and deliver a clear strategy for pipeline growth
  • Should have strong presentation skills as well as excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Company language is English
  • Must have the ability to listen, articulate recommendations and influence executives at all levels
  • A self-starter with a passion for sales and self-development through continuous learning
  • The ability to work independently, or within a virtual team
  • Able to work effectively across cultures, languages, time-zones, in a smart working environment (remote working)
