Digital Healthcare General Manager, EMEA

The job
NEC will expand the Digital Healthcare team in EMEA. NEC is looking for creative, people-oriented and healthcare professionals who are passionate and results driven to strengthen the team. Although the focus will be EMEA wide the candidate(s) will be based in Europe.
The successful candidate will need to work with NEC EMEA Marketing and NEC Japan Leadership teams to maximize the revenue and manage operations in digital healthcare business. Success will require experience in GI Endoscopy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the business plan with NEC Japan business leader and EMEA Marketing to achieve the revenue goals and agreed KPIs.
  • Organize and manage the digital healthcare sales support team and IT support team
  • Establish and maintain the influential relationship with distribution partners in EMEA region.
  • Quality management for sales/marketing materials delivered to the distribution partners.
  • Work with EU local team and local partners, and drive the local operation for NEC digital healthcare activities, not only for sales and marketing, but also for R&D driven by NEC Japan team
  • Understand the industry and government’s direction for healthcare AI and medical device in EMEA region and provide the recommendation to Japan business and R&D team
Are you interested?
The role requires a digital healthcare general manager capable of hunting for new business opportunities. The candidate(s) will be required to have a proven Sales track record with a good network base in medical device, preferably GI Endoscopy domain.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Extensive experience in the Endoscopy GI market, ideally from endoscopic device company.
  • Endoscopy GI market development experience preferred
  • Develop and deliver a clear strategy for the growth
  • Management experience for sales/marketing team, preferably in Endoscopy GI
  • Should have strong negotiation skills as well as excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Company language is English
  • Must have the ability to listen, articulate recommendations and influence executives at all levels
  • A self-starter with a passion for business development, marketing and sales and self-development through continuous learning
  • The ability to work independently, or within a virtual team
  • Able to understand working at Japanese company culture and work effectively across cultures, languages, time-zones, in a smart working environment (remote working)
