Distribution Sales Manager – Nordics

We are currently seeking an experienced Distribution Sales Manager to join our Channel team.

Key responsibility will be to manage Distributor relationships across the region. Successful candidate will have a measurable track record of success in delivering results and will work closely with the both Corporate and Channel Sales team to execute sales plans and go to market strategies.

 

Position is based in Stockholm/Kista or Oslo.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in Distributor accounts
  • Develops and provides Sales Operations with monthly product forecasts
  • Leveraging distribution for revenue growth and value adding activities
  • Maintaining and developing relationship on regional and country level with NEC distributors
  • Together with Nordic General Manager, establishing and executing regional distribution strategy
  • Rollout of the NEC Partner program and its requirements across all distributors in Nordics
  • Work proactively on increase in customers breath ( number of Partners selling NEC)
  • Defining and managing growth opportunities with partners managed by distribution
  • Input on creation of campaigns such as marketing and channel programs
  • Identifying best practices on the country level and the multiplication of them on the Nordic level
  • Annual planning meetings with key contacts within NEC and main distributors for aligned distribution strategy and execution plan
  • Rollout of a streamlined Quarterly Business Review schedule and structure on the Nordics level with top management participation
  • Being an escalation point for all PO processing to meet revenues accuracy and forecasting and any additional need
  • Maintains Salesforce.com account database of contacts and activities

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business , Technology or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Distribution in Technology (HW) industry
  • Demonstrable understanding of how distribution and resellers business models operate
  • Proven track record of success in achieving quota and executing sales and marketing programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage business in a highly competitive selling environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Swedish or Norwegian (both written and verbal)
  • Must be willing to travel excessively
