In order to improve our market coverage and seize growing market opportunity in Denmark, we are looking to hire an experienced and self-driven Channel Sales Manager.

 

This highly independent role will suit well for an individual that has established relationship within key IT and/or AV Resellers in Denmark and who understand and can articulate the difference between value add, solutions selling vs. traditional , product focused, sales approach.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver financial performance for NEC Display Solutions in Denmark –  achieve and aim to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets :
    • Forecasting and reporting – provide timely and accurate sales forecasts
    • Business plan execution – hold Partners accountable to delivering commitments made in contract and annual Business Plan
    • Develop and maintain channel coverage plan to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Channel Partner management :
    • Develop and drive joint partner business plan that supports overall revenue and gross profit targets for NEC Display Solutions in Denmark
    • Identify , develop and implement right channel coverage
    • Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of NEC’s strategy and market positioning, lead offering product and solutions
    • Assess, clarify and validate channel Partner needs for support on an on-going basis.
    • Provide lead and support to win key end customer deals - prepare proposals, respond to quote requests etc.
    • Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows and other promotional activities
    • Provide sales and limited technical training to channel partners

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business , Technology or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in channel sales within the IT/AV solutions marketplace
  • Knowledge and track record of Channel Development
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills with proven ability to influence plans and objectives
  • Excellent presentation skills to all levels of the organizations
  • Consistent track record of meeting performance objectives
  • Demonstrable experience of working to month-on-month sales targets
  • Reviewing and analysing data for sales forecasts, tracking progress against business plan, identifying and implementing corrective actions
  • Business planning – use of CRM systems to enter sales leads, determine forecast, and manage pipeline; review proposals and pricing elements for end customers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English and Danish (both written and verbal)
  • Extensive traveling required
